Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)
Can I wash my big coat ?
Yes you can wash it in a normal washing machine as you would for the original sleeping bag .. we leave the washing instructions from the original bags on the item .. our buyers have all washed them in a normal washing machine at a normal temperature and found that all is well.
Where can I wear it?
Anywhere and everywhere you like. Our buyers wear it for long walks, camping, festivals, dog walks, football practice, city walks and basically anywhere. We all wear it all year around and it’s great for summer evenings as much as a winter day.
Is it waterproof?
We have not added any extra “waterproofing” and as a policy do not add any more toxins to the sleeping bags.. we do go out in the rain and it is good in showers, if it gets wet it dries quickly.
How do I close it?
The coat is designed to wrap around. The zip is just for decoration / show – you can’t / don’t ZIP it up.. as you would a normal coat – this is because the kind of zip that you get on a sleeping bag is not open ended.. so instead if you want it closed, it is closed by a belt and clip and clinches in at the waist. We generally wear our open as they are so warm ., but in high winter it is useful to close them.
Does it have pockets ?
Yes it has deep big pockets – and are great for warming hands.
